WALNUT RIDGE, AR -- The Columbia Cougars earned a split Tuesday in the semifinal round of the American Midwest Conference tournament. Columbia upset top seeded Williams Baptist 1-0 in the first game of the doubleheader, but the Eagles fought back to claim the second game over the fourth seeded Cougars 2-1. With the split the Cougars are 27-18 on the season.

WALNUT RIDGE, AR -- The 2012 Cougar softball season came to an end Wednesday night as Columbia gave it their all but fell just short in a 5-4 loss to top seeded Williams Baptist College in the American Midwest Conference tournament semifinals. The Cougars were the fourth seed in the eight-team playoff and wrap up the season with a 27-19 record after pushing the Eagles to a third and deciding game.
